Well, it mostly depends on the average wind speed. a 10 kw model with an average annual wind speed of 4.5 m/s will save you about 20,000 kilowatt-hours. how much this means in monetary terms depends on the tariff of your consumption. as a company, you should calculate with the net electricity price but including the grid usage fees. as an individual, the price plus gross vat is the amount saved.
The windier, the more empty and the higher the site, the better. As a rule of thumb, 1 metre for every metre of soil level will result in a 1% increase in yield.
