The above prices are for the equipment only and do not include transport and other logistical costs, excavation and foundation work for the installation of the equipment, nor the costs of the administrative and approval procedures required for the installation.

The prices may vary depending on the quantity ordered, the conditions of the installation site, the wind conditions and the equipment of the machine!

For higher order quantities, in order to optimise transport costs and prices in general, it is possible to locally manufacture simpler components such as the support column, or even to set up a local final assembly plant.

The horizontal wind turbine is mounted on a large pylon, due to the fact that the average wind speeds are much higher up, which means more energy can be extracted. Its blades act like the wings of an aeroplane, generating lift due to the pressure differential and converting this into rotational motion.

Presentation of small wind farms

In recent decades, harnessing the ‘power’ of wind and turning it into electricity has become a huge business in the world, and an industry based on it could be the solution to the fight against global warming, due to changing atmospheric conditions, including more frequent and stronger winds.

L. Gépgyártó Kft. has been part of the supplier base of the industry’s biggest players, such as Siemens, Vestas, General Electric and ABB, for more than 30 years. The company produces large, complex welded steel structures and precision-machined equipment for the renewable and traditional energy sectors. L. Gépgyártó Kft., which now employs more than 350 people at three sites, has used its experience in the industry to develop independent small-scale wind turbines.

Our WTW.30 and WTW.50 products, co-developed with the Budapest University of Technology and the University of Pannon in Veszprém, are characterised by high quality, reliability and precision, and represent the outstanding technical standard that is familiar and expected from our company. The basic concept of the company is to design and manufacture equipment that can be used in all weather conditions
safe and efficient operation and economical operation in all weather conditions. In order to achieve these objectives, in addition to 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of machines, the company has all the necessary certifications for our production processes, including ISO 9001 DIN EN ISO 3834 – DIN EN 15085 – 2 CL1 EN 1090 – 2 EXC3.

General characteristics of power plants

Security:

The control system continuously monitors the environmental and operating parameters of the equipment and intervenes in response to changes in these parameters, regulating the power output and, if necessary, stopping production.
The equipment is controlled by a redundant electronic system, developed in-house, which is redundant in terms of both design and logic, but in addition, the electrical and mechanical brakes in the control cabinet and the nacelle are negative brakes, i.e. they are set to a braking state by default in the event of a control failure, so that even in unexpected situations
safe shutdown of the power plant in case of an emergency.

Controls:

A self-learning, self-developed control system, adapted to local wind conditions, which allows the plant to operate very efficiently and safely under wide operating conditions. The software is able to react in a predictive way to the variable wind speeds and directions typical of continental climatic conditions.

Remote monitoring:

The equipment includes a client-server based remote monitoring system that allows full operational and environmental monitoring of multiple machines via VPN, as well as the setting of operating parameters and modes. The system is also capable of remotely updating the equipment control software.

Lifetime, maintenance, service:

The machines are designed for a long life (more than ten years) and to operate at consistent production rates, based on the quality and design of the components used and decades of experience in machine manufacturing. The design and construction of the wind turbine, as well as the components connected to it, require low maintenance. Depending on the operating environment (wind volume, production rate, etc…), the need for inspection and maintenance varies between one and three years. Maintenance and repair of the machines can be carried out from a lift basket or by means of an optional external mobile maintenance lift. The integrated remote monitoring system provides the necessary data for remote detection of possible faults and scheduling of maintenance.

Warranty:

Under standard continental wind conditions, in an average windy location with an average annual wind speed not exceeding 5.5m/s, our equipment is covered by a 5-year warranty, subject to the performance of the required maintenance and normal use. In other circumstances, the warranty conditions may vary in addition to the maintenance requirements.

Determining the production data of a wind farm is a complex task, as the production rate depends not only on the wind speed, but also on the energy content of the wind, which is significantly influenced by air temperature, humidity and pressure, among other factors. In addition, the efficiency of a wind turbine is also influenced by the quality of the wind, i.e. how steady its speed is, how variable its direction is, how turbulent it is. The table below shows the expected production data for different average wind speeds:
